Turn the listing on
Open the property for editing and go to step 4 Listing.
- Tick List this property on EZRENT.
- Enter the Advertised weekly rent. This is only the rent you advertise. The rent a tenant actually pays is set on the tenancy.
- Set the Date it is available.
- Choose Save changes.
A vacant, listed property appears on the site's Listings page, where people can search by location, rent, bedrooms and more.
Enquiries
On a listing, a prospective tenant fills in a short form (Your Name, Your Email, Your Phone, Subject, Message and a simple maths question) and chooses Send enquiry.
You receive the enquiry by email, at the address on your account. The email has the subject the visitor wrote, and when you reply it goes straight to the visitor. There is no enquiries list on the property page, so keep an eye on your inbox (and junk folder).
What EZRENT does not do
EZRENT does not screen tenants or run background, credit or reference checks. You arrange any checks yourself. There is also no built-in appointment calendar beyond requesting an inspection.
When you find a tenant
Set up the tenancy and send the invitation. See Create a tenancy and invite your tenant.
