Income & Expenses: your profit and loss

What it shows

Income & Expenses lists every rent payment received and every expense recorded, so you can see what each property earns and costs. Open it from the left menu.

Choose what you are looking at

• Showing (period): This month, Last month, Last 3 months, This financial year, Last financial year, This calendar year, All time, or Custom range.
• Property: all properties, or just one.

The summary

• Rent received for the period
• Total income
• Total expenses
• Net (income minus expenses)

The detail table

Under Expenses & other income each line has a date, property, category, amount, Source (rent payments arrive automatically; things you add are marked Manual) and a note. Use Edit or Delete on lines you added.

Add something

Choose + Add income / expense and fill in:

• Direction: Income or Expense
• Amount and Date
• Category: Other income, Maintenance, Rates & taxes, Insurance, Management fees, Platform fees, Utilities, Bank interest or Other expense
• Property
• Note (optional)

Choose Save.

Take it with you

Download CSV gives you the list to share with your accountant or use at tax time. The Dashboard also shows a small Income & expenses summary with a link to View all income & expenses.
