Landlords › Getting paid
What you pay EZRENT
- Premium subscription: A$15.99 a month.
What tenants pay
- Rent is paid by PayTo or bank direct debit (BECS). Cards are not used for rent.
- A flat $3.50 processing fee is added to each rent payment. The tenant sees it as a separate line before paying. It covers the payment network's cost, so you receive the full rent.
What you pay on tradie invoices
A flat $3.50 fee also applies when you pay a maintenance invoice. The person paying covers it.
How money reaches you
Rent is charged straight to your own connected Stripe account, and Stripe pays out to your bank automatically. EZRENT never holds your rent. To see payouts, choose Open Stripe dashboard (shown on your Dashboard once rent payments are active).
Extra fees
Refunds, failed payments and disputed payments can bring additional Stripe fees on your connected account. If an automatic payment fails, it is retried and both you and the tenant are told.
Full details: the Payment fees page on the site.
